Project Overview
TinPet is a web platform designed to allow dog owners to connect, meet and socialise their pets in a safe and compatible way. Born from the idea of creating neighbourhood communities dedicated to play experiences between pets and people, TinPet supports users in managing meetings designed to stimulate positive relationships, both between dogs and their owners.
The mission is clear: to allow dog lovers to enjoy peaceful socialising in a controlled, fear-free environment.

Challenge
The project was initially launched with a codebase based on Next.js. However, in order to support an escalation of iterative development, with the gradual introduction of customised features and value-added services (such as manual profile matching and interaction management), it became necessary to adopt a stack more suited to the expected scale and complexity.
The main challenge was therefore to migrate the application to a new technical architecture – while maintaining continuity in the user experience and preserving the valid elements of the original project – to enable more sustainable, modular and controllable development in the long term.

Solution
The solution developed for TinPet is a web platform built with Laravel and the TALL stack, combining performance, scalability and a smooth user experience.
The architecture uses Supabase as its database and managed hosting on Ploi, ensuring a simple but robust infrastructure.
The design process involved wireframes and iterative prototypes, with incremental development focused on maximum usability and clarity.
