Project Overview
Francesca is a passionate Wildlife Biology Doctoral Researcher with a strong interest in the coexistence of humans and wildlife.
Her primary focus is on studying the dynamics between these two entities and finding effective conservation strategies. She firmly believes that understanding the intricate relationship between humans and wildlife is crucial for the sustainable management of our ecosystems.

Challenge
The challenge in creating this website was to create a digital experience that best represented Francesca's professional reputation and dedication to academic research.
The academic field often lacks specific guidelines for website creation, so the goal was to create a site that stood out from common templates and offered a personalized and professional experience.
Given the academic context, the website needed to convey a sense of authority and expertise, but without neglecting the somewhat bohemian spirit of its owner.

Solution
To give a quick feel, we opted for a one-page application through the use of the Laravel Livewire framework, which allows the website to change content without reloading the page.
As the main color, we chose "Ocean Floor," which, on the one hand, is an obvious nod to nature and on the other, in a somewhat more subtle way, winks at Francesca's Apulian origins. A lilac was chosen as the accent color instead, which goes well in constratum with the primary color.
The logo, on the other hand, is a two-dimensional geometric figure depicting a polar bear, as Francesca is actively involved in the study of large mammals and the preservation of the most endangered species.
Also active is a back-office built with FilamentPHP that Francesca can use to manage her Twitter posts, photo gallery, research content and to respond to mails.

Feedback
"Working with Davide was very easy: I shared with him what I do and my vision for the website, and he demonstrated an immediate understanding of what I was looking for.
In a short time, he turned my idea into reality, creating a website that is not only incredibly useful for my needs, but that I absolutely love. The site has also been appreciated by several sponsors who have decided to subsidize my research.
All my colleagues are very envious of my site, and I can do nothing but advise them to get in touch with Davide."
